Market Heritage Tours

For groups of 10+ people

The Market Heritage Tour is a one-hour walking tour that presents a blend of history and current information that many visitors never get to hear about, including the Market Foundation's role in the Market community. This tour is also an ongoing fundraiser to support the Market's four human service agencies for low-income and elderly residents of downtown Seattle. Note: This is not a food/tasting tour.

Tours are offered Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM for groups of 10 or more only, and must be scheduled at least 2 business days in advance.

  • Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for seniors (55+) or children (under 18). We accept online credit card payments or checks made out to "The Market Foundation." Payments are non-refundable.
  • Tours begin at Rachel the Piggybank, located under the Market's neon sign (Pike St & Pike Pl).
