Volunteering your time is a great way to support the Market Foundation and the agencies. Each year, our volunteers give thousands of hours to ensure the success of our programs and events.
Volunteer opportunities with the Market Foundation are primarily during special events like Sunset Supper or the Care for the Market Luncheon, and occassional work parties. For more information, please contact us.
The Pike Market Senior Center and Downtown Food Bank also often need volunteers. Staffing needs, jobs, and hours will vary -- contact them directly for more details.
FoodLink
Become a FoodLink worker on weekday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 PM during the months of June through September. Collect unsold fresh fruits and vegetables from Market farmers and produce stands for distribution to local food banks. To learn more or to sign up contact Erika Sweet.
